Your Child’s Day

Your child will do a variety of activities during the day. We have many interesting and exciting things for them every day.  Here are some things that we may provide in each classroom:


INFANTS:  Ages 6 weeks to 16 months 

Tummy time, music time, reading books, gym time, nap time, snack time, and a variety of activities designed to stimulate your child’s growing brain and body. Infant days are according to their individual schedules.

 

TODDLERS: Ages 16 to 33 months

Crafts, music, dramatic play, gym/outside time, large muscle activities, puzzles, games, stories, Jesus time, prayers, snacks, nap time, free play time, small motor activities, and chapel, designed to help children grow in all areas of development. Toddler’s diapers are changed a minimum of three times per day. 

  

PRESCHOOL THREES: Ages 33 months to 4 years of age

Crafts, music, storytime, Jesus time, art time, free play, dramatic play, group time, fine motor time, large motor time, gym/outside time, snacks, nap time, learning time, chapel. All are designed to help prepare children for more formal learning.


PRESCHOOL FOURS: Ages 3 years to 5 years 

Crafts, music, storytime, Jesus time, art, free play, dramatic play, group time, fine motor time, large motor time, gym/outside time, snacks, nap time, academic time, chapel. All are designed to prepare children for kindergarten.


SCHOOL-AGE:

Snack, prayer, Bible reading, games, free play, and gym/outside time


Outdoor Play

We plan to go outside every day unless the weather prohibits it. Parents are responsible for sending seasonally appropriate clothing such as jackets and hats for fall and spring, mittens, boots, snow pants, etc. for winter.
